Forget it, back to the last place.

If you’re interested in taking The Division 2 for a spin ahead of its March 15th release but weren’t able to take part in the game’s private beta phase, then you’re in luck: Ubisoft has announced that this weekend’s beta will be open to everyone. The beta will be open on all platforms — PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 — from March 1st until March 4th.

The content on display for this test will give players a taste of just about every facet of The Division 2’s gameplay, including storyline and open world missions, PvP content in both the Dark Zone and the 4v4 Skirmish game mode, and one endgame Invaded mission.

And even if you’ve already gotten to play in the private beta, this weekend’s open beta will have even more content on display: The level cap has been increased to level 8, there’s an additional story mission to play, the new Chem Launcher skill, two new settlement projects, and an additional Skirmish map. Players can begin preloading the game through the Uplay client on the morning of Thursday, February 28th, and the beta will kick off in earnest at 4:00 a.m. EST on Friday, March 1st.

My feeling as well. Repeat what I did before to get one more story mission and an additional level, neither of which will carryover and I’ll have to do them yet again in 2 weeks? Pass

Not sure if it matters much in the long run but there are rewards (weapon skins, backpack trophies and so on) for completing various aspects of the game during the beta.

Good to know, but one thing I learned in The Division 1 was that there will be a ridiculous amount of free costumes and skins… more than I’ll ever need. I had 4 characters and what seemed like 30 styles to choose from without spending any money.

I actually got kind of burnt out on all the free ones they gave you from just playing the game with the free keys, so I’m more with Wratts on this one; it’s not worth the time wasted.

Besides, I’m in Anthem right now so that’s keeping me busy atm.

See that’s where my weakness is. You tell me there’s a free skin that can show forever and ever that I was part of the Beta? MUST HAS IT!

It’s a problem, I know
