When the next update for Blade & Soul arrives, players will be able to start specializing their characters through the use of the new talent system. If you’re wondering how this is going to work, the official site is showing off the talents for three of the game’s 11 classes, although all 11 will have access to the system. While your Summoner isn’t going to suddenly become a melee fighter, you can choose between summoning swarms for utility and knockdown, or focusing on ranged attacks via the Way of the Thorns.
Destroyers will always be the center of destructive forces, but they do get to choose between more furious debuffs and attacks or defensive tricks that make them nigh-unkillable. Last but not least, the Blade Masters can either focus on higher damage output with sharpened blades or become far harder to hit and able to dish out auto-targeting attacks. Check out the full rundown on the official site to get a sense of how the same basic class can have multiple flavors.Source: Official Site

I’ve been looking at this for some time and I think it will be a good refresh. And, the skill sets will be something you can change from your Hongmoon Book. So, if the new skills don’t fit your style, you can simply go back to the tried and true old ones.
Many questions remain. Balance is always a concern. Who will be OP this time? Heh. And what about tanking? Will the tanking classes be the same?
I’m really looking forward to the answers. Heh.
It should be good fun, and of course, I’m quite interested to see what happens next to the Hongmoon school.
I think it will be good idea to stay away from the PvP in this game till all 11 classes are released. Just saying. :(
…the good news though, B&S proper does not appear to be being sacrificed on the alter of mobile gaming. Can I say /phew? o.O
I haven’t seen the Force Master abilities or the Blade Dancers. I wonder how they will be impacted. It should be interesting.
Every game has a tier list. Even fightning games.
Why “even”? Fighting games had tier lists for ages.
Because BnS pvp could be considered a FG, and FG’s have somewhat of a fame to be fair, which i agree, since balance is something they actually care quite a lot.
True. BnS has done a good job balancing that by giving lesser classes great utility. You know heals, group buffs that sort of thing. So, as long as that is balanced it should be fine. But I do suspect they are going to make the low dps classes the highest. It will make a lot of folks happy. Heh.
I sometimes think of playing BnS but the game just feels claustrophobic to me.
Well, it has huge public areas but it is not an open world game. You travel from one instance to another so in that sense it is closed off.
