Out of the boisterous class of Warhammer Online bloggers that emerged on the scene in 2008, Steve “Slurms” Lichtsinn became well-known for his affable wit, trademark manic grin, and love of MMOs. Sadly, Steve passed away yesterday following a two-year battle with cancer.
Following a stretch of WAR blogging, Steve turned to MMO podcasting as his creative outlet. He was a cohost on both Multiplaying and The MMO Show for several years. Steve leaves behind a wife, daughter, and son, and our love and condolences are with his family and friends this week.
One of his friends, Zelibeli, put together a “Best of Slurms” playlist on YouTube for friends and newcomers to appreciate the work he did. Check it out below and give a “waaagh!” for him today.
