Anthem’s latest update fixes bugs and not a whole lot else

The latest update for BioWare’s somewhat touch-and-go MMO shooter Anthem has gone live, but if you’re hoping for some new content or major adjustments, you’re unfortunately out of luck this week because this patch is about as minor as they come – witness the cranky players. Nevertheless, there are a few bug fixes that should at least provide some small quality-of-life improvements.

With the new update, players should no longer receive loot for javelins besides the ones they’re currently using. It may not be more loot, per se, but it’s at least more *usable* loot. And if you’ve been thinking that Ursix and Titan spawns seemed to be a bit low in Freeplay mode, it’s not just in your imagination — but don’t worry, that problem should be fixed now, too. And speaking of mob spawns in Freeplay, this update also makes it so that Titans, Ursix, Luminaries, and Fury enemies will no longer despawn when another player starts an event. That about covers the highlights of this Anthem patch, but if you want to read the full patch notes for yourself, you can peep ’em over at the game’s official site.
