Skyforge’s next big thing has arrived! Dubbed New Horizons, the content update sends players to their first new planet ever, Terra, with all-new enemies – Draconids – to fight and new missions to undertake. It’s all live today on PC, with rollouts expected on PS4 tomorrow and Xbox One Thursday.

“Recently we managed to send a scouting probe through a mysterious portal. Today we received the results. The probe discovered a new planet, and it looks like we are facing a serious threat! Volunteers are about to travel there to learn more about it and find a way to protect Aelion. It will not be an easy trip – judging by this new data, our pioneers will have their hands full. The signal from the probe is unstable, which makes it difficult to obtain accurate data, but some things are clear now. Pictures of the planet surface show ruins of cities and lifeless wastelands. Preliminary measurements indicate that air pollution levels in certain parts of the planet exceed safe limits many times over: perhaps a war took place there. But who were the warring parties? That we will have to find out.”

My.com also says it’s updated bastions and strongholds, tweaked the rewards interface, altered division specializations (there are just four now), and overhauled the scaling system – it will now “not just increase the Might of a player who’s lagging behind [but] provide bonuses from the laboratory and divine specializations specified for the selected rank of the adventure.” Clearly, the intent here is to help new and returning players catch up to the meta. Check out the New Horizons trailer too!
