When DK tipped me this story, I joked that I could just write “Star Citizen. Motorcycles. $450″ and you guys would just go and do your favorite thing in the comments anyway, but we’re gonna do this proper: Star Citizen has just released its latest concept ship sale. And it’s motorcycles.
But it’s seriously cool motorcycles, and a whole bunch of ’em, all based on the original: The Tumbril Ranger CV. They’ve even got wheels this time! It looks like the cheapest buy-in is $30, though of course you can also grab the mega pack for $450 if you for some reason have a burning desire for a whole fleet of bikes – that pack includes the wearables and the pre-existing Tumbril buggies too. Apparently this is something folks in the alpha for the game ask for all the time, although it’s worth noting that you can get “flyable” ground vehicles similar to these right now in the game for just credits.
These bikes will presumably be buyable this weekend by everyone – we expect they’ll be premiered on tonight’s studio video too – but for now, they’re accessible at these prices only to Concierge-level backers, which means the only reason we’ve got pics is that DK shared them with us (thanks so much DK!
