Final Fantasy XI kicks off the Mog Bonanza and free A.M.A.N. vouchers

Sometimes the game hates you trying to understand it.

Do you feel lucky, Final Fantasy XI players? That’s the fundamental question behind the next two events upcoming in the game’s 17th anniversary celebration because both events need some luck. For starters, there’s the Mog Bonanza, which is… well, it’s the lottery. Pick numbers and hope to match the winning numbers. That’s how it always has been, that’s how it continues to be.

The A.M.A.N. trove event, however, is a little bit different. The event itself has existed in the game for a little while now, a sequence of treasure chests with ten wooden chests (which may be mimics) and one golden chest (which ends the encounter). Starting on May 15th, players will get two free tickets which can be traded for free orbs to enter the trove field, which means you get two shots at something every day. So do you feel lucky? Do you?
