Zorp? Phasers don't go zorp.

The latest installment in Star Trek Online’s ongoing Star Trek: Discovery tie-in story arc, Rise of Discovery, is live on PC today, and what’s more, Perfect World Entertainment has announced that the update will be hitting the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game next month on June 25th. To mark the update’s release, PWE has put together a new trailer showcasing the new content.

In Rise of Discovery, players will (boldly) go back in time to join Captain Gabriel Lorca (voiced by his Discovery actor Jason Isaacs) and Commander Ellen Landry (voiced by her Discovery actress Rekha Sharma) aboard the U.S.S. Buran, where they will “uncover the startling chain of events that ultimately determined the fates of these compelling characters in the first season of Star Trek: Discovery.”

With the new featured episodes The Plausibility of the Possible and Impossibility of Reason, the new Discovery Legends tier 6 reputations, and the removal of level restrictions for tier 6 starships, Rise of Discovery has a little something for every captain to enjoy. If you want to get a taste of what you can expect before you take to the stars for yourself, you can find the Rise of Discovery launch trailer just below.
