I didn’t buy Conan Exiles after a free weekend because I don’t have enough time to spend on one more game but the game is amazing. Never even had a thought about Arnie when playing even though I’ve seen both movies long ago. Honestly I think Conan Exiles is more entertaining than those movies (and the movies weren’t bad).

I have the too many games and too little time problem as well. I own the game but haven’t installed it, like 98% of my Steam list of games haha. Too many sales, too many gifts from relatives that are happy I play games, too little time these days and I enjoy MMORPGs the most when having to pick.

Good question MJ, and i think it’s just a game without much of the charm about Conan’s pop culture.

Of course i just said all that to have a segway to ask you who’s your daddy and what does he do.

Conan without Arnold is like Crom without four winds to laugh at.

Honestly I think Conan’s voice in Exiles is pretty badass, if a bit too “all serious all the time” for a character who had no problem cutting loose and enjoying the finer things in life when he had the opportunity.

Not true MJ. The newer generation of kids know Conan as Jason Momoa. Yes to us old folk it is Arnie. Still waiting for The Legend of Conan. Until then Terminator: Dark Fate is coming to theaters soon. Welcome Back Linda Hamilton.

I dont think many people, of any age, remember Momoa’s Conan.

I dont think even Momoa remembers it. He’s probably trying not to.

I have to disagree. I am in the “newer generation” and had never even heard of the Jason Momoa version until today when I looked up information on Conan shows. I do in fact know Arnold as Conan instead. The Conan that plays on HBO and on various TV stations is the Arnold version. It is often in the rotation. I don’t know much of another Conan.

I’ve heard of a terrible kid friendly Conan TV series, but not the Jason Momoa Conan.

Speaking of TV series, Amazon was supposedly looking into doing a Conan TV series. Considering the praise the script was getting and that it was all set to be made, it’s odd that it has been stalled.

Funny, my introduction to Conan was through the books and the old black and white Marvel comics; thanks to that, I think neither of Arnold nor of Momoa when I picture Conan.

I might be the exception, though. I’m the kind of person that relates far more with the books than the comics, and with the comics than the movie.

Yeah Arnie was good as Conan however Momoa’s Conan was more in touch with Howard’s books. Arnies Conan was from a book by L. Sprague de Camp.
