Blizzard is aiming to fix Hearthstone’s messy 14.4 patch and login problems today

It sounds as if yesterday’s Hearthstone update didn’t quite go to plan. Blizzard posted the 14.4 Rise of the Mech update yesterday afternoon, with the neutral Legendary Mech SN1P-SN4P promo card, matchmaking improvements, multiple card buffs, and of course, tweaks to the Arena.

Unfortunately, the patch was a bit of a mess, with Dalaran Heist bosses and cards being switched around, the arena being deactivated over bugs, and large swatches of the mobile community unable to log in at all because the update wouldn’t apply properly.

The fix is on the way, however.

“We’ve resolved the issues with arena mode and expect to make the mode available again shortly after this post goes live. The 14.4 update for mobile will now begin at or around 9am PDT tomorrow morning, June 4. The update will take some time to complete, so please allow an hour or so to see the update reflected on your device. We will provide updates during this time as well so you know when to expect to see the game live.”

That’d be noon EDT.
