Time flows like a river. Seasons change. Animals migrate. Total strangers make insipid arguments at one another online. There are things one can count on as the wheel of the year turns ever forward, and that goes for EVE Online and its regular events as well, particularly the voting for its next Council of Stellar Management and the starting gun for the lead-up to the next EVE Fanfest.

Voting for CSM 14 began yesterday and those who are personally vested in the proceedings can now have their say. A total of 44 different players are on the ballot, and players can put in their votes until Monday, June 17th. Here’s hoping there won’t be any spurious accusations of insider trading with this new group.

In other already-alluded-to EVE news, we now have a date and location for Fanfest 2020: April 2nd through the 4th at Harpa, Reykjavik, Iceland. Tickets for the event will be first available for purchase during EVE Vegas, precisely at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, October 25th. Fans will note that Reykjavik is the traditional home for Fanfest, but as we covered in our podcast, renovations have sent events all over the world.
