Does it count as a leak if the studio puts it out? I’m gonna say no, especially if the studio puts it out publicly and hashtags it #leak. That’s exactly what Starbase’s devs did this morning, but hey, we’ll take it!
As we’ve previously covered, studio Frozenbyte announced Starbase just a few weeks ago, describing it as a “massively multiplayer online game with gameplay focused on building and designing spaceships and stations, exploration, resource gathering, crafting, trading, and combat.” There’s a hefty focus on simulation in the galactic voxel world, specifically on production and construction – “from constructing single spaceships with durable outer platings to creating massive automated factories and designing electricity and data networks.” Our teaser looks to be showcasing those factories. It’s kind of like this, except that it’s not the worst scene in an entire movie, so there’s that. Enjoy!
