Things you can do now you’ve finished War Within, besides build and decorate your personal quarters and collect music tracks for the Somachord jukebox:

Here be spoilers for those who’ve not played it.
Use Operator Mode in missions, the Operator’s attacks are really useful against Sentients and Stalker as they reset the damage type immunity those enemies gain while you fight and Void Mode is great for reviving downed squadmates or sneaking past guards and cameras.

Access missions on the Kuva Fortress “planet”, which moves around the Origin System map.

Access special Kuva missions on regular planets near the Fortress’ current location.

Play Sorties, each day there’s a set of 3 Daily missions against increasingly high level enemies (up to level 100 in the final mission) with special conditions such as e.g. “you can only use a bow” or “your shield / health / energy is reduced” or “enemies deal bonus Heat damage and are resistant to all elemental damage” which can give really good randomised rewards including Riven mods and 3-day boosters.

Riven mods are rewards from Sorties (and other sources such as quests and Gift of the Lotus alerts) that start off “veiled” (identified only as e.g. “shotgun riven” or “melee riven”) until you do a special task specified on the m0d. Once you do the task the mod reveals what weapon it’s for and what bonuses it gives, and if you don’t like those bonuses you can spend Kuva to reroll them and choose to keep either the new ones or the old ones. Rivens can be very powerful, but usually have high MR requirements.

Now you have access to the Operator’s attacks you can kill Vomvalysts (the glowing blue floaty pests) and fight Eidolons at night on the Plains of Eidolon. Fighting Eidolons will drop stuff you can use with a new Faction in Cetus to build better weapons for your Operator’s attacks.

Unlocking and upgrading skills on the Focus skill trees will improve your ‘frames’ capabilities, improve your Operator’s stats such as health / armour / energy pool / energy regeneration / movement speed, and improve or change the way your Operator’s Void Blast, Void Mode, and Void Dash work.
