The latest trailer for Monster Hunter: World’s Iceborne expansion has just hit the internets, and with it has come no small amount of hype within the game’s community. In addition to officially revealing the arrival of blade-tailed big boy Glavenus and two new subspecies — the lightning-infused Fulgur Anjanath and 100% edgier Ebony Odogaron — the trailer also teases the return of everyone’s favorite explosive-mucus-secreting punch-dinosaur Brachydios. Fan speculation is running rampant as a result of Glavenus’s introduction to MHW, which marks the presence of five previous flagship monsters (Tigrex, Nargacuga, Rathalos, Kushala Daora, and now Glavenus) in the game, fueling theories that Capcom is aiming to eventually bring all the main-series flagship critters — or at least the fan favorites — to the new world.

On top of the new trailer, Capcom has also released a new dev diary video in which Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Executive Director/Art Director Kaname Fujioka, and Director Daisuke Ichihara discuss the new arrivals and detail some of the new featues coming in Iceborne. The devs take players on a quick tour of the new gathering hub of the new hunter HQ, Seliana, which — in addition to being a lovely snow-covered getaway complete with relaxing hot springs — will “[streamline] the flow of meeting up with other players and tending to all your pre-hunt necessities by adding quick access to facilities like the Smithy, Resource Center, Botanical Research Center, and Argosy.”

They also reveal that the player rooms in Seliana will be even more customizable than the ones back in Astera, giving players the ability to “change up furniture, various decor items, and even the wall texture” of the room — and they’ll even be able to invite their friends to come hang out in their swanky new digs in a post-launch update. You can get all of the fresh info for yourself in the full dev diary video below, or you can check out the summary post on the game’s official blog.
