Intentionally designed or not, every MMO and online game exudes a personality, and no two are exactly alike. It might be the cheerful anarchy of Trove, the crisp aloofness of EVE Online, the future rockstar vibe of WildStar, or the whimsical childishness of Glitch, but personalities are there. And, I think, they matter more than most people realize.
A personality that runs counter to yours or your preference can be grating, even if you like that MMO’s feature set. A personality that mirrors yours might feel like home and give you that extra incentive to settle in and stay a while.
