RuneScape patches holes in Land Out of Time, promotes summer special sub sale

With RuneScape’s Land Out of Time fresh on the live servers as of last week, Jagex is already looking ahead to post-launch fixes and content. Most notably, the patch dropped today fixes several issues in the Big Game Hunter activity set, which is designed to let players track and trap big ol’ dinos. The studio’s added a new achievement, trapper fragment acquisition, and quality-of-life fixes too. For example,

“Failing an encounter in Big Game Hunter will no longer reduce the amount of dinosaurs you can hunt in the area. Leaving, teleporting out of area, or killing a dino will still make progress towards the encounter going on cooldown.”

There’s more to today’s studio update, including a “summer special” buy-two-get-three subscription discount.
