The Elder Scrolls Online is changing Undaunted Keys, guild trader bidding, and crafting

A number of pursuits in The Elder Scrolls Online are going to be seeing some tweaks in Update 23, the free update to the MMORPG that’s riding alongside the Scalebreaker DLC arriving on August 12th. Specifically, players will see tweaks to the way Undaunted Keys work, will be able to bid on multiple guild traders, and can craft several items at once.

First, the Undaunted: Right now, Undaunted Keys were items that took up inventory space and could be spent on one of three Undaunted chests. When Update 23 lands, the Keys will be going away, becoming a currency instead to free up inventory space. Further, players can either use one Key to get a mystery coffer full of the same rewards as before, or burn five keys to buy a specialized coffer that draws monster shoulder rewards from only two sources, increasing the chance to get the monster shoulder you want. If you’re feeling particularly splashy, you can light 50 Keys on fire for a monthly monster shoulder style page, though this has a chance to drop from mystery coffers as well.

For Trading Guild leaders, you’ll soon be able to bid on up to 10 different Guild Traders each week, setting a preference and priority for their bids. This should alleviate missing out on a Guild Trader Location. Finally, crafters will be allowed to knock out multiple items at once, with bulk actions for refining, creating, deconstructing, and extracting, which should save you plenty of time to get those menial chores out of the way.
