Star Trek Online lays out a roadmap of updates for the next six months

With Star Trek Las Vegas just in our rearview mirror, it would stand to reason that Star Trek Online would have a number of announcements to make at the convention. Sure enough, we’ve had a couple, first with the game’s next major update and now with a content roadmap for the rest of the year.

The roadmap gives a visual guide of what’s planned through to January, though of course details and dates are subject to change. Until we hear otherwise, players can expect to enter the Arena of Sompek in August, enjoy what Star Trek: Awakening has in September, take on the Kobayashi Maru in October, face the Ju’la in November, and then close out 2019 with Q’s Winter Wonderland, which promises you’ll get to command Spock’s Jellyfish ship. Then, in 2020, Star Trek Online will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and while that milestone doesn’t have many details, there is promise of “ships you’ve been waiting for.”

If you’re a regular player of the game on either PC or console, you’re likely going to want to take a look.
