Moonsugar? No… no moonsugar here. Just some Elder Scrolls Online.
Yep, if you’ve ever wanted to know what the paying customers in ESO get that you don’t, then this is your weekend, as ZeniMax is running a free trial for the Plus sub alongside the Orsinium birthday event.
Trial players get full access to most of the game’s DLC (looks like everything but Elsweyr), the craft bag, double bank storage, a buff to expies and gold, extra house space, costume dyeing, double crystal storage. Notably, Wrathstone is included in the promo, but the monthly currency stipend isn’t. Existing players need only log into the game and snag the “free trial” promo from the cash shop to get access to it all for nothing.
Have fun in there folks! You’ve got until August 13th to ransack the place.

They should make a basic version which would load content on demand, lesser than 120Gb (or whatever that bloatware’s size is).
By the time the game finally patches up for me, the event will be over. It’s easily one of the worst patchers out there.
The panel at Quakecon said that they were working on the patch issue but ironically the patch they hope will fix it will be a very large patch
I recently resubbed and played for about six weeks. While the game does have a metric ton of content, all the quests follow the same basic formula. After completing a couple of zones it all feels very same old here we go again. I started falling asleep while playing and unsubscribed.
So what are subscribers getting, I see no mention of Crown Crates; are we just not being appreciated this time around?
That cover pic is about 75% of the reason I don’t enjoy the game.
That crafting bag alone is basically worth the sub for me
That and you get your money back anyway… by being able to spend it in cash shop!
Welp, TIME TO GO IN AND MOVE EVERYTHING TO MY CRAFTING BAG!
And maybe mess around a bit this weekend, it’s been quite some time since I really played ESO.
That was my first thought when I saw the headline as well.
Saaaaaame
me too!
When you subscribe it automatically dumps all the crafting bag valid items into it.
Not sure what unholy mess you have to go through when you lose access to it.
Stop playing the game.
I went back in a few weeks ago and lost my bag. Since there is no auction house to get fair value for items to make space, I just uninstalled.
They have mods for this.
You still have the crafting bag afters, you just can’t put more into it until you sub again.
As tickled as I am by the thought of the banks getting buried in an avalanche of lemon rinds and yerba mate when the event ends, my understanding is that stuff stays in the crafting bag for use. Once the subscriber treatment ends after the event, any further materials that you gather have to be kept in your main bag or your bank as normal.
when you unsub you keep access to the bag and can take stuff out. You just can’t add more to it
