Weill, that's... more of a pier, really.

Fancy a trip to New Zealand this fall? Path of Exile’s real-world ExileCon is happening in Auckland this year, and let me tell you, I could not possibly be more jealous of the Massively OP writer who’s going to cover it for us. And for everyone wishing to hop a plane and go, Grinding Gear has dropped more info on what to expect in a blog post this week.

“We plan to kick off the convention with a keynote announcing both December’s 3.9.0 expansion and the future 4.0.0 mega-expansion,” the studio says. “Attendees will be able to play demos of both announced expansions, watch talks given by GGG developers, meet their favourite streamers and invited guests, buy Path of Exile merchandise, and celebrate Path of Exile with over a thousand other community members.” Guests include multiple streamers as well as OARPG royalty like David Brevik, Max Schaefer, Erich Schaefer. Apparently, there are still tickets available for the November 16th-17th event, but if you’re thinking about going, just make sure you’ve got your papers in order.

“An important new piece of information for attendees is that New Zealand has just introduced a system where you must apply for an “NZeTA” online before arriving in the country. As far as we can see, almost all ExileCon visitors from overseas must apply for one. We recommend doing this as soon as possible.”

In game news, the game patched up to 3.7.4c on Wednesday with a handful of bug fixes and ladder tweaks.
