Overwatch’s latest patch adds Sigma and a (briefly bugged) role queue

Another Overwatch patch has arrived, bringing with it a brand-new hero for players to fling at enemy teams. Or, perhaps more accurately, fling things back at enemy teams, since Sigma’s whole thing is controlling gravity and reflecting stuff because seriously, what would you do with gravity powers? Levitate and make things bounce around, right? That’s what we thought, and that’s what he does. And what you can do vicariously by playing him, too!

The patch has also introduced the role queue system, which alters how players queue up for matches; rather than queueing and then selecting a role, players choose a role and then get matched for a party, able to select any hero within the role you queued for. The feature was apparently causing some notable bugs with Quick Play but should be fixed now, as the queue isn’t meant to work in that mode for right now. Other than that, things seem to be going well, at least if you like not being on a team consisting of four Hanzos all arguing that the other three players need to change.
