SWG Legends’ August update adds new vet rewards and quality-of-life tweaks

We mentioned earlier that voting for the Star Wars Galaxies Legends player senate is currently ongoing, but Legends has a bit more cooking than that. This month, the player-led rogue server got an update focused on quality-of-life goodies: Veteran rewards are now tradeable, there are new vet rewards for 8- and 9-month players, the sandcrawler house takes up less world space, cloners saw some utility tweaks, you won’t be spammed with the Musty cutscene anymore, lairs won’t spawn in your factories now, the client launches more quickly, the Lucky Despot got a makeover, and you can see how many hours you’ve spent in the galaxy. (How many? Far too many, folks. Not sorry!)

Of course, the update we’re all looking forward to the most are the upcoming planets of Bespin and Felucia, but that’s still a ways off.

If you’re new to this particular server or even the game altogether, then heads-up: This weekend, Legends staff are hosting an event just for you inside the Mos Eisley theater. “All new and returning players, you are invited to an event created to help You! There will be helpful tips and a time for answering questions about the game.” Q&As kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday and 4:30 a.m. EDT (that one’s aimed at Oceania players!).
