Some sunny day, PC players and console players of The Elder Scrolls Online will see update parity and get to enjoy the latest content as one. Today is not that day, however. Hot on the heels of Scalebreaker’s release on PC and Mac is the announcement of a Tuesday, August 27th, release for the same content on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

If you’ve been following along, you know what you’re in for: dragons. Specifically there’s the two new dungeons in the DLC in the form of the Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane, while Update 23 is offering a large number of quality-of-life updates to Undaunted Keys, guild bidding, and crafting. There’s also a promised number of fixes and balance changes to look forward to.

If you’re curious about what the Scalebreaker DLC is all about, be sure to have a look at our impressions of the Moongrave Fane dungeon to get a sense of what awaits.

Meanwhile, players are about to get another taste of ESO in the form of its latest free-play event, which kicks off the same day.
