Last Oasis postpones its launch by a month but gives you worms

‘Tis the week for delay announcements, it seems! The woodpunk post-apocalyptic MMO Last Oasis won’t be coming out in September as was originally stated. Instead, the team stated this week that it is postponing the title’s release until October 10th.

“One of our main goals is to make sure everyone can experience a stable, performant and fun experience at release,” the team posted. “So we wanted to polish the game a bit more, tweak the balance, improve some optimization, and in general make the launch as perfect as it can be. We’ve also been working hard to ensure the game supports as many languages as possible at launch.”

If there’s a silver lining to this whole delay, it is the fact that players are going to be treated to Tremors-style worms when Last Oasis does come out:
