Before we hit the three-month mark out from Final Fantasy XIV’s early access for Shadowbringers, it’s time to start talking about the first major patch of the expansion. Yes, patch 5.1 is coming, and the first previews will happen as part of the Letter from the Producer LIVE, as always. That’s taking place on September 14th at 9:00 p.m. PDT, which means it’ll be exactly midnight and right over to September 15th for those of us setting our clocks by EDT. It’s an odd date for those of us not at the Tokyo Game Show, where the letter is being held.
Whenever the stream begins in your local time zone, it will feature both Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro, the creators of the upcoming YoRHa alliance raid series that will no doubt be central to this first preview. Expect to also get some hints about the new dungeon, some teases of gear, and no doubt other hints about what comes next when the patch launches.Source: Official Site
