The MOP Up: Catching up with Runes of Magic

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in with Runes of Magic! So what’s going on with this fantasy MMO these days? For starters, there’s an experience point boost event happening through the end of the day as well as a Watermelon event that’s wrapping up on the 12th.

That not enough? There’s a whole event zone to visit as well: “Inside the labyrinth, you have 3 minutes in which to find as many treasure chests as you can. The chests come in two different ‘flavors’: purple chests contain more valuable items than the red chests, but the former can only be opened using keys you find in the red chests. You’ll also come across traps which either slow you down or speed you up.”

And this is just the beginning of the rest of the news! Read on for a roundup of other smaller MMO news stories and videos from this past week in this edition of The MOP Up (and if you don’t see a news story that we should have covered, drop us a tip)!

China is rolling into War Thunder as the latest nation to add its military arsenal to the game’s roster: “The initial line-up of Chinese vehicles available in War Thunder features tanks, fighter aircraft and bombers which were used during World World II and shortly thereafter.”
