Crowdfunding for VR cyberpunk MMO Zenith hits $200,000 with new playable race

Zenith, the plucky little cyberpunk VR MMO that rocketed onto Kickstarter last month, has made it to another funding stretch goal. The project now has raked in over $200,000 with 18 days left in its campaign as of this writing, which unlocks a new playable race that look a bit like bipedal kittens if the very tiny image on the stretch goal chart is any indicator.

Details on this new race are not available yet, but the devs promise lore details and a race name will be provided, while artwork of the new race will take longer to unveil. It should be noted that the promised date of September 6th for this information has obviously come and gone, so keep eyes on the Kickstarter page for more.

Perhaps you can bide the time with some anime theme song karaoke? Because that’s what the Zenith devs did deliver on the 6th as promised. It’s an hour of adorable awkwardness.
