Prosperous Universe’s Prelude update improves trade, paves the way for planetary governors

Now that the free-to-play early access launch of multiplayer space business management sim Prosperous Universe is successfully behind the Simulogics devs, it’s time to move forward – to set the table for things to come. A Prelude, if you will.

The Prelude update offers some intriguing new wrinkles to interstellar business management such as new production fees for manufacture in Faction-controlled space, a degradation and depreciation system for old buildings, and the addition of the Administration Center planetary project. This new building is important as it will be the focal point of Prosperous Universe’s next update which will let players appoint a planetary governor in order to set taxes and fees. In the meantime, this building will remain vacant.
