It’s the final countdown over on the Star Wars: The Old Republic’s test server, or more accurately, the final test phase. Yes, there’s still more testing to be done for the incoming Onslaught update, and that last phase of testing is now available on the game’s test server for players to try out improved loot systems, the Dxun Operation, and the planet of Onderon. Of course, there’s no storyline available yet (don’t want to spoil that, you see), but you can earn some special titles and a mount for taking part in the test.

But what’s that? You want to know what set bonuses will look like for your Commando or Mercenary character, depending on your faction? The game has you covered there as well, with a separate post detailing set bonuses and tactical bonuses for the individual specs of each advanced class. (Since, you know, it’s the same basic mechanics with different factional flavor.) So you can have some idea of what’s in the cards for these specializations even if you aren’t taking part on the test server.
