While we mentioned this in passing during our roundup of Title Update 6’s features, it does bear repeating: The Division 2 is entirely free and open to all players on all of the platforms it likes to hang out on, just in case you’re among those sitting on the fence.

The free play weekend includes access to the entire game and will even let those who participated in the last free play weekend pick up right where they left off. Additionally, if you’re engaged enough to buy in to the full game, any progress made during the free weekend will carry over. Speaking of buying in, the game itself is discounted by 70%, while the Year 1 Pass is discounted by 40%.

As mentioned before, this promotion is open to PS4 and Xbox One via their respective storefronts, and PC players via either the UPlay launcher or Epic Games Store. Xbox One players will need a Gold membership to get in the game, while PlayStation owners will not require PlayStation Plus. The free weekend runs from now until Monday, October 21st, at 4:00 am EDT.
