Kingdom Under Fire 2 gets a November 14 launch date

The MMORTS subgenre has never really taken off, but Kingdom Under Fire 2 is certainly hoping to change that fact. The last game in the series released more than a decade ago in 2008, but KUF2 picks up in the same world with three different factions fighting for control of the land of Bersia. Whether you choose to sign up with the Dark Legion, the Human Alliance, or the Encablossians, you’ll be choosing from a variety of hero classes, five character classes, and commanding huge troops either in multiplayer or single-player campaigns.

The game is currently available for pre-order with several tiers of bonuses, ranging from the $30 pre-order option to the $100 get-everything pre-order, complete with costumes, mounts, bonus content, and so forth. You also get another little bonus for pre-ordering with a new hero troop and an exclusive title, with the game available for ordering normally starting on November 14th. Check out the launch trailer just below if you feel like this might be just what you’re looking for.

It’s Gameforge. The only business model they have for the games they run is F2P.

Man, between this Archeage, Aestellia (however you spell it), and Black Desert on PS4, I’ve got a lot of B2P MMO’s on my radar for when they start going on sale.

Can’t believe it’s finally actually coming out.
