PC fans of Monster Hunter: World have been left in the cold without any firm launch date for the Iceborne expansion, but now they can likely feel a little warmer as Capcom has confirmed a release date of Thursday, January 9th, 2020 for the rime-coated expansion pack on Steam.

A new landing page outlines a number of bells and whistles for the PC version of the game, including 4K resolution, ultrawide monitor support, a wide array of graphical customization options, DirectX 12 support, a new high-resolution texture pack that can be downloaded for free at launch, and improved keyboard and mouse controls. The page also offered a variety of PC spec details for those who want to push the game to its absolute visual limits (or at the very least try to run the game).

Pre-orders for the expansion are available as either a standalone purchase or a “Master Edition” that bundles the original game and Iceborne together. Each version also comes in standard or digital deluxe flavors which pack in a number of cosmetic items. There’s also a trailer for Iceborne in 4K resolution and 60 FPS that can be viewed below.
