ArcheAge Unchained’s offer of free Diligence Coins is rescinded over account claim errors

ArcheAge Unchained just can’t seem to catch a break. Last week we reported on a bundle of Diligence Coins and labor rechargers that were going to be offered while the ArchePass is shut off. It now appears that offer is off the table due to an issue with claims.

This past Friday, November 1st, saw the Diligence Coin bundle offered to appropriate accounts almost immediately run into problems and then get shut down within roughly four hours of it being provided. What happened? There were “issues related to some eligible accounts not receiving the items or other accounts receiving multiple claims,” explains a forum post.

As one could expect, there are some unhappy players out there. One player suggested that Gamigo should go back to the original plan and offer 300 Diligence Coins to everyone and simply reduce the number of Coins for those who had multiple claims, while others just coped by making low-effort memes.

As for what happens now, there’s no update on any official channels as of right now; the team was busy getting the EU Halnaak server back online.
