Betawatch: Pearl Abyss announces all the things

All the things.

Remember when Riot Games was all like “ha ha, we’re going to announce all the titles ever, eat that?” Pearl Abyss looked at that as a challenge, and it went and announced… well, all the titles. Seriously, so many announcements. Plus, Black Desert Mobile launching on December 11th! It was an abyss of pearl week up in here.

Other beta news was pretty quiet, but some still took place. To wit:

And that’s some beta news! You want more titles? Hey, hop on down to the list below wherein we’ve got our current list of things in testing. If something is missing from the list or has jumped test phases and we missed it, let us know in the comments!

As always, we consider an MMO to be in open testing if it features free, public signups and will server wipe prior to launch. An MMO is marked in closed testing if it’s running a private test phase that cannot freely be accessed by the general public; it’s usually under NDA as well. Early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate will be included. So-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no sign of launch in the west, or limited interest for our readers will not be listed; we also do not list expansions, with occasional exceptions.

AdventureQuest 3D: Open beta
Arcfall: Pre-alpha

Yes, MMO gamers, you too can perform the unpaid quality-control work otherwise known as game testing! Check out Massively Overpowered’s Betawatch every week for a run-down of MMOs that are still on the road to launch, even if they appear to have set up a permanent residence in a shed called early access.

Just a little correction. Crowfall is skipping Alpha and going right into Beta with the next big update in February-March. Todd said in the last live stream they don’t feel Alpha fits for the next update.
