Torchlight Frontiers’ roadmap update includes damage numbers, Rahndo the Gambler, and new Legendaries

Torchlight Frontiers is still in active alpha development, so there’s plenty of time between now and whenever release is for things to get added. If you’re at all curious about what additions are still being worked on, there’s this handy dandy Trello board, which has seen a few items shift around.

The latest update has seen some Trello cards move from the “Long Term Goals” section to “Work in Progress” recently. These items include some new Legendary weapons for all three classes, an NPC named Rahndo the Gambler that sells random roll gear items for Gold, and some quality-of-life features like visible damage numbers, the ability to see item nameplates when holding the alt key, and the ability to portal over to your party members.

While these updates offer dates for when they moved out of the long term goal phase to active development phase, they don’t provide a date for release or whether they’ll be part of a major update. Still, it’s nice to know that at least there are some fresh things in the works.
