Star Wars: The Old Republic plans eighth anniversary and Life Day festivities

Everything old is... well, it's actually still old.

It is perhaps mildly ironic that Star Wars: The Old Republic is now getting rather old in and of itself, since the game is passing the eight-year mark. A celebration is due in the game starting on December 17th, with decorations for strongholds centering around both famous lore figures and the various class ships. But that’s not even one of the biggest events in the game, it turns out, since December is just replete with stuff.

This month also sees the return of the Relics of the Gree event, the Rakghoul invasion, and the Bounty Contract week. Players will also be able to take part in the annual Life Day celebration, which includes seasonally appropriate mounts that are somehow equally appropriate a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. It’s a bunch of stuff for players to enjoy during the last month of the year, in other words; review the full event schedule and schedule your playtime accordingly.
