The devs of Black Desert have been busy collecting gobs of player questions, and now they have a number of them answered, which not only include questions from the NA/EU playerbase, but also some from Taiwan.
Most of the questions from this side of the world focus on improving activities, whether they’re based on progression, monster zones, the Red Battlefield, or Succession vs. Awakened skills. The questions were returned with some thoughtful answers from the devs, such as acknowledgement that more organic grouping for monster zones, confirmation that new things are coming to the Red Battlefield, and an explanation of what Succession skills are meant to do along with a promise that they will continue to work on balancing. The devs also acknowledged the problem with certain uncapped stats in T1 Node Wars and believe that adding more mount-related features will improve strategic and cooperative play.
The Taiwan Q&A segment is even longer than the NA/EU one, with answers regarding adjusting CC, offering a bit more incentive for new players to stay, and a direct calling out of the Dark Knight as a target for balancing; players should expect this to arrive with Succession. There’s really quite a bit to absorb for BDO fans, so make sure to get comfortable as you read through the lot.
