Again and again and again and...

Whether you cut your teeth on the Warcraft trio of real-time strategy games or only came to the franchise after World of Warcraft released, you’ll soon be able to go back to a past that’s been rewritten and revamped. This is because Warcraft III: Reforged has received a January 28th, 2020, release date from Blizzard.

“Soon you’ll be able to relive the definitive real-time strategy classic, with revitalized visuals, an epic single-player campaign spanning over 60 missions, rebalanced online play, a suite of contemporary social and matchmaking features, a vast universe of player-created games, and more,” Blizzard said.

The rework of Warcraft III was originally supposed to come out in 2019, but the studio ultimately decided that it needed a bit more time to put on that famous Blizzard shine. The digital game will retail for $30, but players looking to pick up some goodies in other Blizz titles (such as a WoW meat wagon mount) can shell out $40 for the Spoils of War edition. Any pre-order will net the player access to the beta test, so you don’t even have to wait for the 28th to get into this title.
