MMO Week in Review: Looking ahead to Guild Wars 2, PSO2, and Elder Scrolls Online

2

‘Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the games industry, not a creature was stirring, not even a… OK not really. Just about everyone put out some sort of sale, patch, event, promo, or teaser for the new year before the holidays took over all the western studios we cover. Also, nothing useful rhymes with industry.

Most notably, Guild Wars 2 teased its next episode; we recapped the year to date for LOTRO, GW2, and Elder Scrolls Online; Warcraft III got a launch date; PSO2 started tester signups; and EverQuest and EverQuest II dropped expansions. Plus we’ve continued our awards, posted our predictions, began our monthly roundups, and even started up our goofball awards too. Stay tuned as we’ve got more coming through the holidays!

Read on to catch up with the very best of this week’s MMO news and opinions today as every Sunday in Massively Overpowered’s Week in Review!
