Police nab WoW Classic DDOS suspect

Seriously, stop doing this. Blizzard doesn’t let this stuff go.

“Immediately after the distributed denial of service attacks against our game service began, the Blizzard Security Team worked around the clock with local and international law enforcement agencies to track down the source of the DDoS,” Blizzard said. “It is our understanding that, within a few days, authorities were able to successfully identify and arrest a suspect.”

We’ve got a runner-up here, and it’s all thanks to a Sea of Thieves stream in which the devs let a pet monkey run around for a half an hour… and then it promptly barfed all over them. Wheeee! Yeah, it’s Christmas and I have queued up a stream with monkey barf. You’re welcome.
