Grim Dawn recounts last year’s updates and drops teases for future updates

The middle of January seems a bit late for a retrospective, but then again perhaps Grim Dawn is subscribing to the “better late than never” axiom. Whatever the reason, the game’s latest Grim Misadventures dev blog decided to look back at the year that was and drop a few peeks at what’s to come.

The retrospective is pretty standard stuff, looking back at all that happened to Grim Dawn in 2019, from its Forgotten Gods update to veteran difficulty adjustments to the opening of the Tomb of the Heretic. It’s unremarkable, but it also puts a year’s worth of progress in perspective.

What might be more interesting to players is the quick teases for future updates. It nodded to the monster totems feature and provided a look at some of the nine new legendary weapons due to arrive with the next update, as well as shared a first glimpse of new location coming with the next update. If you’re curious about any of that, then you’ll want to scroll to the bottom of the post.
