Elder Scrolls Online follows up Greymoor and Harrowstone announcements with ESO Plus free trial week

So Elder Scrolls Online is having a good week: Last night, ZeniMax laid out the year’s theme, Dark Heart of Skyrim, and previewed its winter DLC called Harrowstorm and its big tentpole chapter coming in the spring, aka Greymoor. (We’ve got a complete recap of all the good stuff right here, with more on the way!)

While Harrowstorm hits the PTS next week in prep for its February rollout, a lot of folks are itching to get back into Tamriel earlier. And if you want some extra incentive to do so this weekend rather than later, well, good news, as ZOS is offering another round of its ESO Plus free trial, running through Thursday, January 23rd.

ESO Plus trial members get access to the craft bag, double bank and housing and t-mute storage, costume dyeing, a minor boost to things like experience rates, and access to a whole bunch of existing content, including Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Shadows of the Hist, Horns of the Reach, Clockwork City, Dragon Bones, Morrowind, Wolfhunter, Murkmire, Wrathstone, and Summerset. (Note, not Elsweyr, Dragonhold, or Scalebreaker.) You will not pick up the 500 currency stipend that subbers normally get, mind you, and you will need to own some version of the game to take advantage of the promo.

Yay free sub stuff.

Some inaccuracies in the article that should be corrected.

Imperial City is free for everyone regardless of having plus or not.
Dragonhold and Scalebreaker are dlcs so they are included with the plus trial, only Elsweyr isn’t.
And the monthly stipend is 1650 crowns, not 500.

Pro-tip to anyone on the fence: anything you put in the craft bag will stay there after the free sub elapses. Anything you add afterwards will be in your normal inventory, but even a short duration of those craft bags will pay off for the space savings.

Yep. If you want to be a crafter you’ll soon find it impossible to live without. I don’t know how people survived without it early on.
