Path of Exile’s update 3.9.2C makes additional improvements to Metamorphosis and Conquerors

Grinding Gear Games continues to tweak the Conquerors of the Atlas and Metamorphosis League of Path of Exile. The next series of adjustments are in update 3.9.2C and posted its patch notes detail just what’s different.

Some of the bullet points for this update include maps displaying their Atlas Region by default, a visual indicator to the center of the Atlas that displays which Conquerors have been defeated, adjustments to Citadel positions so they’re not hiding behind UI elements, and some improvements to Immunity to Shock and the Mark of the Shaper and Mark of the Elder unique rings. There’s also a variety of bug fixes for Metamorphosis, Conquerors, and in general. Make sure to take a moment to scan over the notes for more.

Once you’ve gotten your fill of patch note details, how about you check out a horrifying new hideout replete with piles of bodies and the screams of exiles in the distance? Sounds cuddly, right? Because that was recently added to the game’s store. If you want that sort of thing, anyway.

What exactly was updated in reference to the Metamorphosis? The bug where every so often the ES is fully replenished, while you’re attacking, is still there.
Unless they have a hidden ES Leech ability not listed? Or is the glitching of the Metamorphosis attacks fixed?
I combed the Patch Notes on Discord as well, and have found nothing.

I’ve actually put PoE on the side for now. I’m hopeful they’ll revert the atlas back to how it was next league (unlikely but I’m still hopeful).

Never happening. This was the big atlas update.

The changes so far will make it a lot less of a hassle, but they still need a much better onboarding system for players about how the new atlas system works.

I’m hoping they’ll have a few more patches like this (likely smaller) through the end of the league with minor improvements, but I’m expecting any of the bigger changes to come with the next league patch.

FINALLY. I really wish they’d picked any other part of the cycle to release this update on, these changes could have come within weeks of launch rather than halfway through the league because most of GGG was on vacation.

Looked at the list and seen some screenshots of the updated map tab and it looks like great stuff for the most part. I may finally at least not have to ALSO fight the UI/atlas “boss” in addition to game bosses.

Hoping this will make things more straightforward and that this isn’t the last we’ll see of this. The game needs some serious QoL love and this is a great first (pretty big, too!) step towards that, at least with the atlas.
