Astellia Online seems to be getting positive buzz following its Steam launch

Big time.

So Astellia Online had a bit of a problem to start its Steam launch with its buy-in being classified as a non-refundable form of DLC. That wasn’t a great look. But now it’s starting to… actually build buzz! No, really! You can just see it poking around on Reddit, with people increasingly acknowledging that the game is actually not bad at all (a sentiment this writer in particular shared), and Steam reviews rolling in at “Mostly Positive” with most of the bad reviews being more about optimization or performance.

The game’s Steam Charts are also trending upward at this point, and while the peak is still around 1000 players, after about a week it’s still a positive trend to see, especially for a smaller game that more or less relies upon positive word-of-mouth to build up its playerbase. If you’re curious about the game’s future, you can check out our interview around the game’s Steam launch.
