It’s been a decade for players of going on a trek across the stars online in… uh… Star Trek Online. It delivers what it promises. Alas, console players have had to wait just a wee bit longer to take part in the game’s Legacy update, but it’s almost there, with the update slated to arrive on March 3rd for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That means that the anniversary festivities can just keep rolling on through all the different permutations of the game.

Yes, this delay means that players are going to be celebrating on consoles a bit further after the actual 10-year anniversary has passed, but the game hasn’t been on consoles for 10 years, so swings and roundabouts. It’s still new episodes and a new event regardless. Of course, whether you’re on PC or console, you can take part in the giveaway we have running right now for all sorts of in-game and out-of-game swag, including a very nice commemorative badge for those who win the top slots.
