Here we go again in DC Universe Online; it’s time for the St. Patrick’s Day event, and that means Mr. Mxyzptlk is back! Aside from making anyone who has not internalized that name from years of DC comics obscura feel like they’re mistyping it every single time, the little trans-dimensional imp is back with his minions along with new base and style rewards for participants.
The update also includes Game Update 102, which is chiefly about turning on the event and updating the rewards but also contains several quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Most notably on the console size, it significantly reduces the size of files on the Nintendo Switch version, which might require an entire uninstallation and re-download to work properly. That part is a bit on the obnoxious side, but to be fair, it’s at least a thematically appropriate prank for Mr. Mxyzptlk, so you can blame him for it. If you can say his name, at least.
