One of my favorite things when going back to an old favorite MMORPG is creating a new character that gets to benefit from all of the account unlocks that I’ve accumulated over the years. My RIFT characters enjoy an embarrassment of mounts, pets, and bag space from level one, while I’m still getting a thrill out of all of the perks from my SWTOR collector’s edition and cantina packs.
The account unlock that takes the record for the longest benefit for me is in World of Warcraft, as the original collector’s edition gave me a panda pet that I still get with every new WoW Classic character. Bonus!
