Fallout 76 previews two new events that will arrive with Wastelanders

While we all know that Fallout 76 has had to push back its Wastelanders expansion by a week, that isn’t stopping Bethsoft from continuing to stir up the hype. Case in point: a look at a couple of new events that will be part of the expansion.

The first is called Riding Shotgun and was one of the things that were shown off during the gameplay preview earlier this month. Riding Shotgun is, by all accounts, an escort mission where players will have to help a caravan through Big Bend Tunnel East, defending it against the Blood Eagles while also taking a moment to find previously lost items along the way.

The second is a public event known as Radiation Rumble, where players must work together to both protect ore miners while also grabbing irradiated ore themselves. As the name suggests, this particular event will be chock full of radiation danger, so players will want to bring a hazmat suit or use one of the suits the miners provide for the event. Successfully completing as many objectives and keeping as many miners alive as possible brings rewards like gear, supplies, reputation, XP, Caps, or even legendary items.

Both of these events will require teamwork and at least one or two friends, so it might be in your best interest to get a deeper look at what’s expected beforehand.
