Also, far too many dwarves.

We already know that patch 5.3 for Final Fantasy XIV is going to be a little bit delayed, but it turns out that even a delay won’t stop our live letters from happening. The next letter is already scheduled for April 24th, with Naoki Yoshida showing off the first previews of patch 5.3 as is traditional at this point in development. And probably apologizing for the delay, because… well, it’s Naoki Yoshida, that’s just the way things go with that man. There’s a reason people are so devoted to him.

The letter starts at 7:00 a.m. EDT, so be ready to wake up a bit early a week from now (or go to sleep very late, depending on your schedule) if you want to catch it live. Audio will be in Japanese only, as expected under the current circumstances. Still, it’s a sign of how hard the team is working to keep the game humming along and advancing just the same, so if you’re eager to learn more about our next adventures in Norvrandt, you’ll want to be ready next Friday.
