Sometimes you need to make your own fun in a sandbox, and much like people walking across a map with soup in RDO, players of Grand Theft Auto Online have taken it upon themselves to don either purple or green alien suits and partake in a gang war.
A chronicle of some of the shenanigans was posted on RPS, but a quick glance at the GTA Online subreddit shows that the fight is still going strong, with several meme posts referencing the ongoing conflict and even a player-written code of conduct. Also, of course, there are more than a few videos of the alien-on-alien madness.
There’s no signs of this random bit of digital gang violence abating right now, which means it’s either a weird time or a perfect time to hop into the game if you’ve been away for a while. Just… try to be prepared. Also enjoy one of my favorite clips posted to the subreddit of a purple alien landing a tasty swag move.
